Café Iguana was founded in 2000 by American Devin Otto Kimble
and Chilean Daniel Flores who felt that Singapore really needed
a place for good Mexican food and a great margarita at fantastic
happy hour prices. It is owned and operated by the same passionate
team that runs Brewerkz and WineGarage. With Dan
Durkin, General Manager and Executive Chef overseeing things
while Lawrence Michael
is in charge of service and Kenvin Tan leads the kitchen.
Quality is our mania at Café Iguana. Our tortillas, salsa and guacamole are all made with the best possible traditional ingredients in our own kitchen. As for draft beer, it doesn't get any fresher. We feature Iguana Lager, a special, light and refreshing, "Mexican-style" beer brewed exclusively for us by Brewerkz as well as a Brewerkz guest tap. And with over 100 labels of 100% agave tequila and mezcal, Café Iguana has one of Asia best selections of these amazing spirits, which are fantastic for sipping from our Riedel glassware that is specially designed to bring out the best tequila flavors.
While our frozen margaritas, made with 100% agave El Charro Reposado, are justifiably famous, particularly because they are half price till 9 pm and again after midnight, do try one of our premium margaritas on the rocks made with hand-squeezed lime juice and some of the world's finest tequila. What a treat! |
